I placed an order for Ravenna Refills, but received communications from Ravenna Rocks. Is this legit?
Yes! Ravenna Refills and Ravenna Rocks are sister stores that operate together in the same building and also operate out of the same platform online. i.e., we share a website! Because our e-commerce was set up with a foundation of Ravenna Rocks, contact information and communications may be slightly confusing, but we assure you that we have your order and it will be fulfilled timely! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns! You can reach:
Who is behind Ravenna Rocks?
Ravenna Rocks is a small brick & mortar shop in Northeast Seattle, located in the old Silhouette Antiques building just in front of the Roosevelt High School. We are neighborhood locals, and we bought this building in an effort to preserve the historic building and bring good vibes to the community. In January 2025, we opened our sister store, Ravenna Refills, in the back half of the building where the previous owner of the building lived. Ravenna Refills is a refillery and eco-home goods store that offers a variety of products you can refill into any clean container (e.g., soaps, detergents, shampoos) plus plastic-free and reusable products that replace plastics and disposable items we use every day.
Ravenna Rocks opened our doors in 2023 with a carefully curated and diverse collection of crystals, minerals, gifts, crafts, souvenirs, and more. We are passionate about crystals and their healing properties, and we believe that everyone can benefit from the positive energy that they bring. We also love supporting local artists and craftspeople, and we are always on the lookout for new and unique items to add to our shop.
We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. We believe that everyone should feel comfortable exploring their spirituality and connecting with the natural world. We hope that you will stop by and say hi, and we look forward to helping you find the perfect crystal for your needs.
How did Ravenna Rocks become a new local crystal shop?
Ravenna Rocks was born out of a love for our community and a desire to preserve the history of our neighborhood. When we first moved to Ravenna, we were immediately drawn to the charm of Silhouette Antiques and other neighborhood businesses. We loved the way the shop felt like a warm and inviting place to browse, and we were sad to see it close after Lucille passed away.
We decided to buy the building with the intention of preserving its history and creating a new space that would benefit the community. We knew we wanted to create a space where people could come together and connect with each other, and we thought a crystal shop would be the perfect fit.
We've been working hard to restore the building and create a space that is both inviting and inspiring. We've also been working to collaborate with local artists and craftspeople to showcase their work. We hope that Ravenna Rocks will become a beloved community space where people can come to connect with each other, explore their spirituality, and find unique and special gifts.
In the short time since we've opened our doors to the public, we have been overwhelmed by the wonderful support of our neighbors and community. We always love to hear that people are finding our shop to be a piece that was missing in the area - most notably it seems that the East West Book Shop left a massive hole in the hearts of many, and it is lovely to be bringing some of that energy back. Be sure to swing in next time you're walking by!

How to Inquire
If you believe your items fit our criteria, please email us with clear photos, descriptions, and any known provenance (origin details). We will review your submission and let you know if it's a good fit. Please note that we do not accept walk-in appraisals.
Can you help me identify a rock, crystal, or fossil I found?
We love rock identification! We can often provide general guidance on common rocks, minerals, and fossils, however we are not certified geologists, mineralogists, gemologists or paleontologists. If you need a precise identification, we recommend reaching out to a local geology club, university department, or professional appraiser. Feel free to bring your specimen by, and we’ll do our best to help!
Will you display or consign my artwork?
We love supporting local Seattle and PNW artists! If you’re interested in having your artwork displayed or sold on consignment at our shops (Ravenna Rocks or Ravenna Refills), we invite you to apply through our Vendor/Artist Submission Form.
We prioritize work that aligns with our store’s themes, such as nature, crystals, sustainability, and mystical or metaphysical elements. All submissions are reviewed based on quality, originality, and fit with our current selection.
To apply, please visit our online application and submit details about your work. We’ll review your application and reach out within 60 days with additional information after we evaluate the fit.

Can my dog (or other pet) come in with me?
Yes! If your pet’s friendly, we’re pet-friendly! We even have regular visitors who bring their owner in daily to see us.
We are a pet-friendly shop and welcome well-behaved pets on a leash or in a carrier. We just ask that you keep them close by and be mindful of other customers. If your familiar friend is especially curious, please be cautious around delicate displays.
Note that we do not allow pets in our sister store, Ravenna Refills, because of the nature of products we carry and the hygienic environment that requires.
Where do your rocks and crystals come from?
Our rocks, minerals, and fossils come from a variety of sources, including direct relationships with miners, ethical suppliers, and independent rockhounds. We strive to source our specimens responsibly, with an emphasis on sustainability and fair trade.
Do you have locally sourced rocks or fossils?
Yes! We love showcasing the natural beauty of our region. We carry a selection of locally sourced rocks, minerals, and fossils, primarily from the Pacific Northwest. Availability varies, so if you're looking for something specific, feel free to ask!
Are your crystals ethically sourced?
We do our best to source our crystals from ethical and sustainable suppliers. We prioritize working with small-scale miners, fair-trade sources, and suppliers who prioritize environmental responsibility and fair labor practices. While the crystal trade is complex, we continuously strive for transparency and responsible sourcing.
Are all of your specimens natural rocks, crystals, or fossils?
Most of our inventory consists of natural specimens, but we also carry some polished, carved, alchemicalized, dyed, treated, and man-made stones. We always try to clearly label and disclose any of these materials so you can make an informed purchase. If you have any questions about a specific piece, just ask! We often get behind on labeling specimens when we get excited to put them out, and it’s a constant game of catch-up. Your questions help us prioritize adding prices, labels, and other information!
