Several scientific studies speak of potential health risks from cell phones, smart meters, and electrical appliances resulting from the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) they emit. Tumble stones are polished and made from Type 3 regular shungite from Karelia, Russia. Type 3 shungite contains up to 50% of carbon. It has deep gray or black color, small pyrite infusions are possible.

Note: shungite has been shown to be be more effective with close proximity to devices, increasing range of effectiveness with larger pieces and for higher-grade specimens, as aborption ability varies based on mineral inclusions and microporosity of a stone's carbon molecules (e.g., Type 1 Elite Shungite with higher carbon make-up)
