Valerie and Brooklyn are a mother-child duo from the Seattle area who created RainBee Designs with the hope of spreading joy through fun stickers and other designs about inclusion for all. Their mission is to encourage inclusivity of people with disabilities, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, women, people of color, and foster mental health awareness.
Valerie (Rain, she/her) is a mom of two whose kids have sparked her inner advocate to fight for all children with disabilities, sexuality and gender preferences, and their lack of inclusion within their school district and community.
Brooklyn (Bee, they/them) is a non-binary, and bisexual teen. They have a broad range of interests from video games to foreign languages. They also started the first ever LGBTQIA+ club at their Catholic school which helped kickstart the creation of other inclusive clubs, including the Black Student Union and the Muslim Student Union at their school!
We are so excited to feature RainBee Design products at Ravenna Rocks to help spread their mission! Come into the shop or find us at Pride in the Park on June 1 to see these designs in-person!
